Deluxe Nile Cruises

Upgraded Nile cruises

Larger cabins, better dining and more deck space than a standard boat, on the same classic route between Luxor and Aswan — a comfortable step up without moving into 5★ luxury pricing.

A step up

Deluxe Nile cruises — more comfort, same classic route

Deluxe boats run the same Luxor-Aswan route as our standard cruises but upgrade the experience — bigger cabins, nicer common areas and more attentive service — while staying well below luxury pricing. It's the sweet spot for travelers who want comfort without paying for a 5★ suite.

What's different from standard

Larger cabins with better views, upgraded dining and lounge areas, and generally newer or recently-refurbished boats. The itinerary — Karnak, Luxor Temple, Edfu, Kom Ombo, Aswan — stays the same.

Choosing between deluxe and luxury

If suites, spa facilities and fine dining matter to you, see our Luxury Nile Cruises. If you mainly want more space and comfort than a standard boat at a fair price, deluxe is usually the better fit.

"
My husband and I booked a private tour with Daily Pyramids Tours. Everything was exactly as promised! The price was fair, the organisation was excellent and the entire experience was smooth and stress-free. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and shared fascinating information about the history and culture — always happy to answer our questions. What stood out most was his honesty and professionalism; we never felt pressured into anything.

Know before you go

When to go

The best time to visit Egypt

Egypt is a year-round destination, but the sweet spot for the Nile and sightseeing is the cooler season — sunny days without the summer heat.

  • Oct – Apr (peak): mild, sunny days — ideal for the Nile & temples.
  • May – Sep: hot but great value and fewer crowds.
  • Hot-air balloon rides over Luxor are best at sunrise.
  • The 2027 total solar eclipse is a once-in-a-lifetime window.
Entry

Visa & entry made simple

Most travelers enter Egypt easily with a visa on arrival or an e-Visa — and we'll advise on exactly what your nationality needs.

  • Visa on arrival or e-Visa for most nationalities.
  • Passport valid for at least 6 months.
  • We share up-to-date requirements for your country.
  • Airport meet-and-greet on every package.
Packing

What to pack for Egypt

Think light, breathable and modest — with a few layers for cool Nile evenings and temple visits.

  • Light, breathable clothes & modest layers for sites.
  • Sunhat, sunglasses & high-SPF sunscreen.
  • Comfortable walking shoes for temples.
  • A light jacket for cool evenings on the Nile.
Stay well

Health & safety

Egypt's tourist corridors are well-policed and welcoming — and we stay with you the whole way with 24/7 support.

  • Standard travel insurance recommended.
  • Licensed guides & vetted drivers throughout.
  • 24/7 on-trip support on WhatsApp.
Money

Money & tipping

The local currency is the Egyptian Pound, but tipping culture (baksheesh) is part of the experience — carry small notes.

  • Egyptian Pound (EGP); USD/EUR widely accepted.
  • Cards work in hotels & larger shops.
  • Carry small notes for tips (baksheesh).
  • ATMs are easy to find in cities.
