Which package is right for you?

Shorter packages (7–8 days) pair Cairo with a Nile cruise between Luxor and Aswan — our most popular length. Mid-length trips (9–11 days) add Alexandria or a Red Sea stop at Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh. Grand tours (12–15 days) combine Cairo, Alexandria, the full Nile cruise, Abu Simbel and a Red Sea or oasis extension for the complete journey.

The best time to visit Egypt

Egypt is a year-round destination, but the sweet spot for the Nile and sightseeing is the cooler season — sunny days without the summer heat.

  • Oct – Apr (peak): mild, sunny days — ideal for the Nile & temples.
  • May – Sep: hot but great value and fewer crowds.
  • Hot-air balloon rides over Luxor are best at sunrise.
