1. About these terms

These terms apply whenever you book a tour, Nile cruise or tailor-made package through Egypto Tours, the online home of Daily Pyramids Tours — a registered Egyptian travel company based in Giza, licensed by Egypt's Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities. By making a deposit or final payment, you confirm you've read, understood and accepted these terms — this forms the entire agreement between you and Daily Pyramids Tours.

2. Booking & payment

To confirm your booking, let us know you'd like to proceed — a representative will contact you to finalise arrangements and provide a detailed itinerary.

• Deposit: 25% of the total tour price secures your reservation (50% for bookings over Christmas, New Year, or packages that include airfare).
• Payment methods: bank wire transfer, Western Union, or credit card (Visa/Mastercard).
• Payment deadline: the deposit must be received within 7 days of booking.
• Instalments: the remaining balance can be split into agreed monthly instalments, with any remainder settled on arrival in Egypt by cash or card.

For credit card payments, we'll ask for a signed authorisation letter permitting us to charge your card, with a signature matching your passport and card — this protects you as much as us, and bookings can't be completed without it.

Any changes you request to a confirmed booking are subject to availability; once full payment is made or a voucher issued, no admin fees apply except for changes to flight tickets.

3. Cancellations & refunds

Cancellations must be sent to us in writing (email is fine). Charges apply as follows:

• 61+ days before arrival: 15% cancellation fee
• 60–30 days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee
• 29–15 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee
• 14–7 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee
• 7–1 days before arrival: 100% cancellation fee

Domestic flights carry separate cancellation fees set by the airline. Refunds, where due, are issued to your original payment method only — no refunds are given for no-shows.

4. Accommodation

Prices are generally based on twin-sharing rooms; single rooms carry an additional charge. Hotels listed at the time of quoting are indicative — a similar-quality alternative may be offered if needed. Quoted prices include applicable tariffs and are subject to change.

5. Flights

Domestic flight prices are approximate — requesting specific timings may affect the cost. For international flights, we're happy to assist on request.

6. Children policy

Packages, Nile cruises & hotels:

• Under 2 years: free
• Under 6 years: 25% of the tour cost
• Under 12 years: 50% of the tour cost
• 12 and over: considered an adult

Sightseeing tours & shore excursions:

• Under 6 years: free
• Under 12 years: 50% of the tour cost
• 12 and over: considered an adult

Flights may carry additional charges for children regardless of the above.

7. Special requests & tipping

Special requests must be raised at the time of booking; we'll always try to accommodate them, but they're never guaranteed, even if confirmed in writing, and a booking can't be made conditional on one being met. Tipping is optional but appreciated by our guides and drivers for good service.

8. Responsibility

Daily Pyramids Tours acts as your agent in arranging hotels, cruises, transport and guiding — we are not liable for injury, illness, damage, loss or delay caused by weather, force majeure, government action, war, labour disputes, theft, mechanical breakdown, quarantine or the actions of a third-party supplier, nor for additional expenses arising from these events.

9. Complaints

If something isn't right, tell us immediately while you're still in Egypt so we can put it right. If it remains unresolved, it can be escalated during your trip. After your trip, complaints can also be raised with the Egyptian Travel Agents Association or Egypt's Ministry of Tourism.

10. General terms

• These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by UAE law.
• Minors under 18 may not register for or use this website.
• Payment details are submitted via a secure connection to our payment provider — we don't store your card details ourselves.
• Payments are accepted in AED, USD, EUR and GBP via Visa/Mastercard.
• We do not provide services to countries sanctioned under OFAC rules.
• Multiple bookings may appear as separate charges on your card statement.
