Greetings from Egypt! Upon landing in Cairo, you’ll receive a friendly reception with a smooth meet-and-assist service, coordinated to align with your flight schedule.
One of our representatives will be waiting at the airport terminal, holding a placard displaying your name for quick recognition.
You’ll then be escorted in a private, climate-controlled vehicle for a seamless transfer to your accommodation in Cairo.

Following breakfast at your hotel, your Egyptologist guide will meet you to begin an unforgettable day exploring the treasures of Giza.
Start your exploration at the iconic Giza Plateau, home to the legendary Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure. Stand in awe before the Great Sphinx—an ancient guardian carved with the body of a lion and the face of a king. Nearby, visit the Valley Temple, an essential part of royal funerary rituals and mummification practices.
Savor a delicious lunch at a reputable local eatery.
In the afternoon, continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), a state-of-the-art institution showcasing a vast collection of Egypt’s ancient heritage. Wander through galleries filled with royal artifacts, monumental statues, and historical treasures spanning Egypt’s Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms. The museum’s modern layout and immersive exhibits offer an incredible window into the country’s past.
Later in the evening, transfer to the train station and board your sleeper train heading south to Aswan. Settle into your private compartment and enjoy dinner as you begin your journey along the Nile.

Upon arrival in Aswan, a representative will greet you at the train station and accompany you to begin your city tour.
Your first stop is the Aswan High Dam, a remarkable engineering achievement that tames the Nile’s seasonal flooding and provides vital hydroelectric power.
Next, take a boat to Agilkia Island to visit the stunning Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddess Isis. This sacred site, relocated from its original location to prevent submersion, features intricate carvings and captivating mythology.
After your sightseeing, head to your Nile cruise ship to check in. Relax and enjoy your lunch onboard as the vessel begins sailing toward Kom Ombo.

Overnight: Aboard the Nile Cruise
After breakfast, disembark at Kom Ombo to visit its distinctive twin temple—dedicated jointly to Sobek, the crocodile deity, and Horus, the falcon god. Explore its symmetrical halls and fascinating medical reliefs.
Return to the ship for lunch while cruising toward Edfu.
Later, take a horse-drawn carriage ride to the Temple of Horus at Edfu—among the most impeccably preserved ancient sanctuaries in the country. Admire its impressive pylon entrance and richly decorated interior.
In the evening, enjoy a traditional Galabeya Party onboard, featuring local music and cultural fun as the cruise continues toward Luxor.

Arrive in Luxor and enjoy breakfast while sailing. Disembark with your guide to explore the famed West Bank.

Continue to the elegant Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, showcasing the legacy of one of Egypt’s most remarkable female rulers. Conclude your morning with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon—two giant seated statues that once flanked the entrance of a grand mortuary complex.
Return to your ship for leisure time on deck as the sun sets over the Nile.

After breakfast, disembark and meet your Egyptologist for an exploration of the East Bank’s most celebrated temples.
Begin at Karnak, a vast religious complex famed for its forest of towering columns in the Hypostyle Hall and its sacred lake. Its grandeur reflects over a thousand years of continuous construction by successive pharaohs.
Continue to Luxor Temple, situated along the Nile and aligned with Karnak by the historic Avenue of Sphinxes. Discover its massive statues of Ramses II, graceful obelisks, and well-preserved courtyards.
Later in the day, transfer to the railway station for your overnight train journey back to Cairo. Dine aboard as the train travels through Egypt’s southern countryside.

Booking policy
At Daily Pyramids Tours, all prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified. However, we gladly accept payments in other major currencies such as Euros (EUR), British Pounds (GBP), and more, based on the official daily exchange rate on the payment date.
Our prices reflect current market conditions, seasonal fluctuations, and service availability, so they may change without prior notice. Once a deposit or full payment is received, your booking price is locked in and guaranteed.

Holiday Supplement:
A 25% surcharge applies to all Nile Cruises and tour packages booked during Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays due to peak demand.
To ensure a smooth booking process with Daily Pyramids Tours, our payment terms vary depending on the service type:
- Day Tours & Excursions: Full payment (100%) is required at booking to confirm your reservation.
- Multi-Day Tour Packages & Nile Cruises: A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking (50% for bookings including airfare). The deposit must be received within 7 days of booking, with the balance settled on arrival in Egypt.
- Christmas, New Year & Easter Bookings: Due to high seasonal demand, a 50% deposit is needed to confirm reservations during these periods.
After payment, you will receive written confirmation, a tailored itinerary, and travel documents via email. Receipts for all payments will be provided.
We understand plans can change. Cancellations must be sent to us in writing. Our cancellation terms are:
- 61 days or more before arrival: 15% cancellation fee
- 60 to 30 days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee
- 29 to 15 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee
- 14 to 7 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee
- 7 to 1 days before arrival, or no-show: 100% cancellation fee
Domestic flights carry separate cancellation fees set by the airline. Refunds, where due, are issued to your original payment method only.
At Daily Pyramids Tours, we welcome families and offer the following children’s pricing:
- Under 2 years: Free of charge
- Under 6 years: 25% of the tour cost
- Under 12 years: 50% of the tour cost
- 12 years and above: Full adult price
Discounts apply only when children share accommodation with two full-paying adults. Note that certain Nile Cruises and luxury hotels may have different policies or restrictions for young children, which will be detailed in your itinerary if relevant.
Some special experiences are optional and not included in standard packages. You may book these in advance or arrange on-site (subject to availability). Examples include:
- Entry inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu and other tombs
- Sound & Light Shows at Giza Pyramids, Karnak, or Philae Temples
- Hot air balloon rides over Luxor at sunrise
- Camel rides or horse-drawn carriage tours in historic districts
- Private photo sessions at iconic landmarks
Optional tours are payable in USD or local currency (EGP). We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons.
While our packages are comprehensive, travelers should budget for:
- Personal purchases (souvenirs, snacks, etc.)
- Beverages during meals unless specified
- Hotel extras (minibar, room service, laundry, etc.)
- Egypt entry visa fees (usually payable on arrival)
- SIM cards or internet access unless provided
- Gratuities and optional experiences
We advise carrying small amounts of local currency (EGP) for convenience, especially for tipping and shopping at local markets.
Tipping (“baksheesh”) is a customary way to show appreciation for good service in Egypt. Though not mandatory, it is widely appreciated:
- Tour guide: $15–$20 per day per group
- Driver: $5–$10 per day per group
- Nile Cruise crew: $5–$10 per person per night (shared among staff)
- Hotel staff (porters, housekeeping): Small tips of $1–$2
Tipping is generally not included in your package price. We recommend carrying small USD or EGP bills for tipping convenience.
