Upon arrival at Luxor Airport, you will be warmly greeted and assisted with your transfer to the luxurious Lumière 5* Nile cruise. After checking in, enjoy a relaxing lunch on board while taking in the serene views of the Nile.
In the afternoon, embark on a guided tour of the Karnak Temple, one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in Egypt, marveling at its towering columns and intricate hieroglyphics. Continue to the Luxor Temple, an architectural gem filled with fascinating history.
Return to your vessel for welcome cocktails and dinner on board, followed by evening entertainment to kick off your Nile experience. Spend the night onboard in Luxor.
Overnight at Dahabiya
Begin your day with an optional hot air balloon ride over the West Bank of Luxor, where you can enjoy stunning sunrise views and breathtaking panoramas of the Nile and temples. The balloon experience includes coffee, tea, water, juices, and breakfast boxes provided by the boat.
Afterwards, enjoy a hearty breakfast on board. Explore the West Bank of Luxor, visiting the remarkable Temple of Hatshepsut, the legendary Valley of the Kings including the tombs of Nefertari and Seti I, and the towering Colossi of Memnon.
Return to your Dahabiya as it begins to sail toward Esna, enjoying lunch on board during the journey. In the afternoon, relax with tea while cruising along the Nile. Dinner is served onboard, and you will spend the night anchored near Esna.
Overnight at Dahabiya
Start your day with breakfast on board before visiting the Temple of Esna, a lesser-known gem with beautifully preserved columns and carvings. Return to your Dahabiya and sail to Edfu, enjoying the scenic Nile views along the way.
Lunch and tea time are served onboard, allowing you to relax and soak in the river landscapes. In the evening, enjoy dinner on board, and spend a peaceful night anchored near Edfu, ready for the next day’s adventures.
Overnight at Dahabiya
After breakfast, visit the impressive Temple of Edfu, dedicated to Horus, using traditional horse carriages for a memorable experience. Afterwards, return to the Dahabiya and sail toward Kom Ombo, enjoying lunch onboard and tea in the afternoon.
Explore the unique Kom Ombo Temple, dedicated to both Sobek and Horus, notable for its dual design and rich carvings. Continue sailing toward Aswan, enjoying dinner onboard as the evening sets in. Spend the night comfortably anchored in Aswan.
Overnight at Dahabiya
After breakfast, visit the beautiful Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis. Return onboard for lunch before a guided tour of the Aswan Natural Reserve and a visit to a traditional Nubian House, where you can experience local culture and hospitality.

Booking policy
At Daily Pyramids Tours, all prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise specified. However, we gladly accept payments in other major currencies such as Euros (EUR), British Pounds (GBP), and more, based on the official daily exchange rate on the payment date.
Our prices reflect current market conditions, seasonal fluctuations, and service availability, so they may change without prior notice. Once a deposit or full payment is received, your booking price is locked in and guaranteed.

Holiday Supplement:
A 25% surcharge applies to all Nile Cruises and tour packages booked during Christmas, New Year, and Easter holidays due to peak demand.
To ensure a smooth booking process with Daily Pyramids Tours, our payment terms vary depending on the service type:
- Day Tours & Excursions: Full payment (100%) is required at booking to confirm your reservation.
- Multi-Day Tour Packages & Nile Cruises: A 25% deposit is required to secure your booking (50% for bookings including airfare). The deposit must be received within 7 days of booking, with the balance settled on arrival in Egypt.
- Christmas, New Year & Easter Bookings: Due to high seasonal demand, a 50% deposit is needed to confirm reservations during these periods.
After payment, you will receive written confirmation, a tailored itinerary, and travel documents via email. Receipts for all payments will be provided.
We understand plans can change. Cancellations must be sent to us in writing. Our cancellation terms are:
- 61 days or more before arrival: 15% cancellation fee
- 60 to 30 days before arrival: 25% cancellation fee
- 29 to 15 days before arrival: 50% cancellation fee
- 14 to 7 days before arrival: 75% cancellation fee
- 7 to 1 days before arrival, or no-show: 100% cancellation fee
Domestic flights carry separate cancellation fees set by the airline. Refunds, where due, are issued to your original payment method only.
At Daily Pyramids Tours, we welcome families and offer the following children’s pricing:
- Under 2 years: Free of charge
- Under 6 years: 25% of the tour cost
- Under 12 years: 50% of the tour cost
- 12 years and above: Full adult price
Discounts apply only when children share accommodation with two full-paying adults. Note that certain Nile Cruises and luxury hotels may have different policies or restrictions for young children, which will be detailed in your itinerary if relevant.
Some special experiences are optional and not included in standard packages. You may book these in advance or arrange on-site (subject to availability). Examples include:
- Entry inside the Great Pyramid of Khufu and other tombs
- Sound & Light Shows at Giza Pyramids, Karnak, or Philae Temples
- Hot air balloon rides over Luxor at sunrise
- Camel rides or horse-drawn carriage tours in historic districts
- Private photo sessions at iconic landmarks
Optional tours are payable in USD or local currency (EGP). We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons.
While our packages are comprehensive, travelers should budget for:
- Personal purchases (souvenirs, snacks, etc.)
- Beverages during meals unless specified
- Hotel extras (minibar, room service, laundry, etc.)
- Egypt entry visa fees (usually payable on arrival)
- SIM cards or internet access unless provided
- Gratuities and optional experiences
We advise carrying small amounts of local currency (EGP) for convenience, especially for tipping and shopping at local markets.
Tipping (“baksheesh”) is a customary way to show appreciation for good service in Egypt. Though not mandatory, it is widely appreciated:
- Tour guide: $15–$20 per day per group
- Driver: $5–$10 per day per group
- Nile Cruise crew: $5–$10 per person per night (shared among staff)
- Hotel staff (porters, housekeeping): Small tips of $1–$2
Tipping is generally not included in your package price. We recommend carrying small USD or EGP bills for tipping convenience.
